The Personality Playground is an experimental demo by Boundless.
These terms supplement the Boundless Terms of Service. Where the Boundless Terms address a topic specifically, they control.
1. What this is
The playground sends your prompt to the open-weights model Qwen3.5-4B and, for each reply, pushes a few of its internal neurons up or down (“steering”). The model's weights never change. Steered outputs can be wrong, strange, repetitive or offensive. That is the point of the demo, not a bug.
2. No advice, no warranty
Nothing the playground produces is advice of any kind, including legal, medical, financial or professional advice. Do not rely on it.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boundless and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the playground or its outputs.
3. Your use
You must be 18 or older to use the playground.
You are responsible for what you enter and for how you use and share outputs, including share links and images. Do not use the playground for anything unlawful, harassing, abusive or deceptive, to generate content that impersonates real people, or to try to break, overload or bypass its limits.
We may log, rate-limit, change or stop the service, or block access, at any time and without notice.
4. Personas, recipes and the model
Personas are parodies produced by steering a general-purpose model. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any character, person, brand or trademark they reference; those belong to their respective owners.
Steering recipes come from neuronary.org and are credited to their authors under neuronary's terms. The model is Qwen3.5-4B by the Qwen team, licensed under Apache-2.0.
5. Privacy
What we process, and why:
- Prompts and replies, to generate the response. They pass through the Boundless gateway and the GPU provider that runs the model. Do not enter personal or sensitive information.
- Share links contain the shared conversation inside the link itself. Anyone with the link can read it; we do not store it.
- Your email, only if you choose to give it in the sign-up dialog.
- Functional cookies and local storage: a signed counter for the free prompts. No advertising or third-party tracking.
The Boundless Privacy Policy governs how we handle your data, including how to contact us with questions or requests.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date above.
